High school life is really exhausting. I feel so exhausted because of a lot of assignments, requirements, activities, and meetings in our school's clubs and organizations. I remember, last week, I fell asleep during our Filipino class. I find our lesson about the story of "Pinkaw" very boring. As I was sleeping still, I didn't recognize that our teacher in Filipino was just standing at the side of my chair.(I don't know if she caught me sleeping.) Then suddenly, I immediately woke up because of our teacher's loud voice.

High School life is great and it is getting even greater as we go to the higher year. I remember the time when I was still in my first year in the high school, I didn't expect that I would see my bestfriend when I was still in my 1st grade and fortunately be my classmate. I didn't expect it because back there we were classmates and bestfriend in our school in Bethany. I went to manila to study for the third grade so I left my bestfriend and study there in manila. After four years of studying in manila my siblings and I decided to go back in Zamboanga since our mom had gone already to the states. In Zamboanga I decided to study in the Ateneo de Zamboanga University and there I met Bin who was my bestfriend. And that is the start of my 1st year in high school and I am happy the way it started.

When there is a dark side, there is also the bright side. We all know that having assignments, researches, projects, play, choral contests and recitations are tasks for the students given by the teachers particularly in high school life. But the brighter side is that we have our circle of friends, funny and serious teachers and etc. that can brighten up our day. In our circle of friends, we usually talk about our assignments and projects but the funny side is we put jokes into it and sometimes we have different topics that we even don't know why we came up to the topic about Africa!!! My friends in high school for me are the one that I treasured so much that I really hate it when they say that they are going to college outside of Zamboanga. But, I realize that if I really love them, I should support them in what they want that can lead them to the better life...De Villa, Lourdes Ursula O.
