Lost Love

by Gary R. Hess
Category: Break up poems

I loved you more than I have ever known
Those starry eyes
Those tender lips
You made my heart melt
Then boil into a roaring fire
I now know
What my eyes could not see
You are the only one that is for me
Many nights those tears flew
Being myself without anyone
Anyone to care about the thoughts
Looking at the sky and knowing
Many mistakes I had
Many mistakes I have had

Let It Rain!

Rain! Rain!
Let it rain!
Let the rain wash away the pain.

Furious thunder,
Roaring across the sky.
Releasing her anger,
That was kept inside.

Rain! Rain!
Let it rain!
Let the rain wash off the stain.

Heavy raindrops,
Pouring down to the ground.
Expressing her sorrows,
That was held inside

Rain! Rain!
Let it rain!
Let the nature heal the pain.

Violent wind,
Blowing out of control.
Exerting her power,
That was once withheld.

Rain! Rain!
Let it rain!
Soon there will be no more pain.

"Hakuna Matata" what a wonderful day as it was in the song that I heard in the movie the "Lion King". It means no worries. Hakuna Matata, that's quite what we need, especially us, the students. As I have observed in our school nowadays, the students are so busy in their studies. Some students are being so studious that they tend to miss the fun of experiencing the enjoyment in their high school days. I often see students worried about something, worried of being not able to pass the project on time, worried on the upcoming exam, worried on the elocution, worried on the deadline of the said requirement, and many other worries. But what could all of these worries can do with the situation we are into, it will just aggravate the situation, it will just push us more in a panic situation. So why try to be calm and live with the word "Hakuna Matata" which means no worries.
